Monday night I got 4 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios paid $4.14 with tax got $4RR's toward my next order. So $0.14 tax for 4 boxes of cereal not bad!

Tuesday night I went back and got 14 boxes of cereal for $14.49 and got $14RR's toward my next order, so $0.49 tax for 14 boxes of cereal.

I plan on using my RR's toward future weeks of shopping at Walgreens or Jewel excepts them toward purchase too!

I went to my WM last night to do another order of Glade. Of course the store manager who said they were 50% off was on vacation. The assistant manager was so nasty telling me they were not if they were not marked. I told her I spoke to the SM on Sunday and did two orders and would even go get my receipts so she could see. She said she did not care and wouldn't do it. I nicely informed her that the signs said ALL HOLIDAY MERCHANDISE 50% off and if she still refused to do the order I would just go ahead and contact corporate no problem. She finally told me she would do my order BUT not for anyone else. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR why do they have to be so nasty???

My order GLADE 30 items, $0.12 before tax... NOT TOO SHABBY!

Also had to get dishwasher detergent so my total cost was $2.39, $2.27 was for the detergent plus $2.53 in tax. Walked out paying $4.92.

It will be a slow couple weeks for couponing at Walgreens. So sorry won't be posting much till after the holidays. I have approx. $35 in RR's to use from Walgreens but unless something great comes up I will be using them on groceries at Jewel.

I learned today that Meijers doubles coupons. I am so excited to hear another store (besides Kroger) doubles coupons. Kroger only doubles UP TO $0.50 (so doubles to $1.00). I hear Meijer doubles up no limit!!!!!! So exciting!

In todays paper in the redplum insert there was a $2 off coupon for Snuggles fabric sheets or softner. At Walmart they have the Snuggles fabric sheets 40 count priced at $1.87 each. Makes for some FREE fabric sheets. My cashier actually took the full $2 off which made each of the six boxes I bought a $0.13 money maker, which probably covered the tax on each box!!

My Trips to Jewel 12-3-09 ((MEAT))

I found out about a great trick at Jewel. They run a FAV4 special for specific meat in their ad. It's where you purchase (4) $6 packages of meat and they discount your total down to $19.99 for the 4 packages. Well if you purchase the same cuts of meat BUT in smaller portion packages they still give you the $4.10 off of the 4 packages.

ALSO if you have Walgreens RR's (register receipts) you can use them at most Jewels as coupons!!!!! I started with $115 in RR's today.
